Mindful Yin and Meditation is an hour and 15 minute long class dedicated to aligning body and mind. The class uses a combination of breath work (pranayama), meditation, and yoga postures (asanas) to bring awareness to how the body feels as well as release some of the physical stressors that may have accumulated during the week. Class begins with a brief guided meditation, and is continued with a unique yin flow where poses held for 3-5 minutes are paired with other gentle stretches. This is an all levels and slower paced class with multiple modifications available for each posture.
